Waimea Canyon

Waimea Canyon is a large canyon with approximately ten miles (16 km) long and up to 3,000 feet (900 m) deep. The canyon also known as the Grand Canyon of the Pacific, located on the western side of Kauai in the Hawaiian Islands of the United States.

Waimea Canyon State Park encompasses 1,866 acres (7.5 km2) and is a popular attraction on the island. It provides a wilderness area with numerous hiking trails. It’s best to start your adventure after a cup of coffee in the morning between 7.00am to 9.00am.

Mount Bromo

Mount Bromo is an active volcano with the height at 2,329 meters (7,641 ft) and it is one of the most visited tourist attractions in East Java, Indonesia. The typical way to visit Mount Bromo is from the nearby mountain village of Cemoro Lawang. From there it is possible to walk to the volcano in about 45 minutes, but it is also possible to take an organised jeep tour, which includes a stop at the viewpoint on Mount Penanjakan (2,770 m or 9,088 ft). The viewpoint on Mount Penanjakan can also be reached on foot in about two hours.

Depending on the degree of volcanic activity, the Indonesian Centre for Volcanology and Disaster Hazard Mitigation sometimes issues warnings against visiting Mount Bromo. So please always follow the current situation to decide whether to start adventure on Mount Bromo or not.

Ha Long Bay

Are Ha Long Bay in your bucket list? If so, then Ha Long Bay might be a choice for you to start your adventure journey. Ha Long Bay is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and popular travel destination in Vietnam. The bay features thousands of limestone karsts and isles in various shapes and sizes.

Ha Long Bay has an area of around 1,553 km2 (600 sq mi), including 1,960–2,000 islets, most of which are limestone. The core of the bay has an area of 334 km2  (129 sq mi) with a high density of 775 islets.

Great Wall of China

The Great Wall of China with the total length 21,196 km and Great Wall is generally recognized as one of the most impressive architectural feats in history. The Great Wall has a history of over 2,000 years, but now the remaining sections are those that were mostly built in the Ming Dynasty. Less than 10% of the sections are well-preserved. 

Mutianyu is the most magnificent fully-restored Great Wall section and 73 kilometers (45 miles) from Beijing, 1½ hours drive.

Jinshanling is most popular Great Wall section for hiking route and it’s quiet with fabulous vistas of the wall snaking up and down.

Mount Kilimanjaro

Mount Kilimanjaro with its three volcanic cones, Kibo, Mawenzi, and Shira, is a dormant volcano in Tanzania. It is the highest mountain in Africa, with its summit about 4,900 metres (16,100 ft) from its base, and 5,895 metres (19,341 ft) above sea level.

The mountain is part of Kilimanjaro National Park and is a major climbing destination. The mountain has been the subject of many scientific studies because of its shrinking glaciers and disappearing ice fields.
